Smokey Chooks is a family-owned charcoal chicken shop on Bridge Road, Richmond, proudly serving the local community since March 2010. Sachin and Ruchi have built the business together, keeping things simple: fresh food, great charcoal flavour, generous portions and friendly service.
Our chicken is free-range, from Bannockburn. Every bird is brined before it goes on, then slow-turned over charcoal with our own blend of herbs and spices until the skin crisps. Because we do not stuff the birds, we can offer halal and gluten-free options.
Our charcoal chicken, chips, burgers, salads and roast sides have made us a favourite with Richmond locals for years.
Richmond is more than our address — it is our home. Our children, Aanav and Amay, were born and raised here and attend Richmond Primary School.
